The Native American Direct Loan (NADL) program is a VA loan program that helps eligible Native American veterans purchase, construct, or improve homes on Federal Trust Land. DBAS serves as a conduit for this program in American Samoa.

Who Is Eligible?
- Native American veterans who meet VA service requirements
- Veterans whose tribal organization has a Memorandum of Understanding with the VA
- Surviving spouses of eligible veterans in some cases
- Must have satisfactory credit history and sufficient income to repay the loan
